Writing for University In-Person

Learn how to write a persuasive, impactful and well-structured essay

Academic writing is very different to writing outside of the university context. Argumentative essay writing is one of the most widely used assessment types for coursework degrees at university.

In this informative workshop, we walk you through the entire writing process: breaking down essay questions; finding your position in relation to the question; and structuring, planning, writing, and editing your essay. Using real-world examples, we examine and analyse the essentials of high-quality arguments and the key components of essay writing and paragraph structure.
