As part of our “Getting published, driving impact” event series, the ANU Library is partnering with Clarivate to deliver this online session, which will:

  • demonstrate how Web of Science can help you find the most influential and current research papers
  • teach you how to identify gaps and emerging trends in a particular subject area by exploring the citation network of a paper
  • improve your understanding of key metrics for journal evaluation and how to avoid the pitfalls of publishing in predatory journals
  • highlight best practices of using Journal Impact Factor and/or Journal Citation Indicator for journal evaluation
  • give guidance on journal comparison and selection of best-fit journal to publish in for optimal research impact.
