NVivo Intermediate Online

NVivo is designed to help you manage and analyse qualitative data. It allows you to keep your data files organised and to easily code text, sound and video files. NVivo can also help you create models to illustrate your findings.

This session introduces the extra features in NVivo that aid in the coding process. It will cover how to use:

  • autocoding to create cases and question nodes
  • word frequency queries to help you create a coding scheme
  • text search queries to help to initially code a large amount of data
  • coding comparison queries to conduct a coding reliability check.
